Lara Stone was born on December 20, 1983, to a Dutch mother and an English father in the town of Geldrop, the Netherlands and grew up in Mierlo, Netherlands.
She first participated in the Elite Model Look competition at age of 15 and quickly became the primary choice for editorials and advertising campaigns after signing with IMG in 2006.
